Booking terms

These terms govern bookings of Blaustrand’s holiday homes in Sanxenxo (Pontevedra, Spain) made through this website. The owner’s details are in the legal notice. By booking you confirm that you are of legal age and accept these terms.

Nature of the contract

This is the temporary use of an entire furnished and equipped home for tourist purposes, subject to Galician Tourism Law 7/2011 and Galician Decree 12/2017 on holiday homes (viviendas de uso turístico). It is not a residential or seasonal tenancy (it is excluded from the Spanish Urban Leases Act, art. 5.e). Each home is entered in the Galician Register of Tourism Businesses and Activities under the number shown on its page.

How to book

Choose the home, the dates and the number of guests. The total price is shown.
Fill in your details and accept these terms. Before paying you can review and correct everything you have entered.
Pay by card on the bank’s secure payment gateway (Redsys). While you pay, the dates are held for a few minutes; if the payment is not completed, they are released.
The booking is confirmed when the bank confirms the payment. We will email you the confirmation with the booking summary and the invoice. Blaustrand keeps a record of the contract and you can ask for a copy at any time.

The contract can be concluded in Spanish, English, French or Portuguese.

Price and payment

The prices shown are final, for the whole stay, and include applicable taxes. There are no additional mandatory charges.
The booking is paid in full at the time of booking.
Minimum stay and maximum capacity: as shown on each home’s page.

Right of withdrawal

Under article 103.l) of Spanish Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007 (consolidated Consumer Protection Act), which implements article 16.l) of Directive 2011/83/EU, there is no right of withdrawal for accommodation contracts other than for residential purposes that provide for a specific date or period of performance, such as this booking. Cancellations are governed by the following policy.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel your booking:

30 days or more before the check-in date: 100 % of the amount is refunded.
Between 29 and 14 days before check-in: 50 % is refunded.
Less than 14 days before check-in, or if you do not show up: no refund.

To cancel, sign in to My bookings with your Google account or email info@blaustrand.es with your booking code. The date you cancel on the website or the date we receive your email counts. Refunds are made to the same card within 14 days at the latest.

Leaving early does not entitle you to a refund for unused nights.

If Blaustrand has to cancel the booking (for example, because the home becomes uninhabitable due to a serious breakdown or force majeure), it will refund 100 % of the amount paid or, if you prefer, offer you other dates.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in from 16:00.
Check-out by 11:00.

Other times only if agreed in advance.

Guest registration

Spanish Organic Law 4/2015 and Royal Decree 933/2021 require every guest to be registered and their data to be reported to the Spanish Ministry of the Interior. Before arrival you must fill in each guest’s details using the link in your confirmation email, and on arrival show a valid identity document (mandatory from age 14). If this data is not provided, we cannot hand over the home and the booking will be treated as a no-show.

Use of the home and house rules

The maximum capacity stated in the booking may not be exceeded, and unregistered people may not stay.
No smoking inside the home and no parties or events.
Quiet hours from 23:00 to 8:00, respecting the neighbours and the building’s rules.
Pets are only allowed if we have agreed in writing before arrival.
Please look after the home and its equipment and let us know of any damage or breakdown.

Guests are liable for damage caused by them or their companions beyond normal wear and tear. A serious breach of these rules (for example, exceeding the capacity, causing damage or serious disturbance) allows Blaustrand to end the stay without refunding the remaining nights.

If a security deposit is required, its amount and payment method will be stated on the home’s page before booking, and it will be returned after checking the condition of the home.

Complaints

You can send any complaint to info@blaustrand.es; we will reply as soon as possible and within one month at the latest. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamaciones) are available at the home. Blaustrand does not participate in any consumer arbitration scheme.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your place of residence will have jurisdiction.
